  A beautiful park located quite close to Smithers. The viewpoint of the Twin Falls is located quite close to the main parking lot, and there's an extended loop for the more adventurous. Looking forward to coming back in the winter and using it to access the backcountry skiing.

  It is a short hike from the trail head, which is a very short drive from Smithers. You can drive there quite easily with a car and there is ample parking and places to turn around. The trailhead features a set of washrooms, and an info hut. There are also places to set up a tent.

  You will not be disappointed by the beauty of the falls and surroundings. I recommend to take a Glacier Gulch trail as well, but it could be quite difficult for some, I've barely survived it :-)

  A short walk up a well made path will take you to a Y in the trail and you can either continue on the Glacier Gulch trail, or to the viewing platform for Twin Falls. The trail does gain a little in elevation, but it is not so steep that a four year old can't walk it. It might take you 15 minutes from trailhead to viewing platform and once you get there, you will be made breathless, not by a lack of cardiovascular health, but by the view.
