  Really comfortable friendly place. Just one thing to consider. The room attendants need to go about their duties without engaging in conversation in the halls during their morning work. I had intended to sleep until nine am but was woken with their chatter outside my room

  I spent Christmas at the Hudson Bay Lodge. Great food, bar, and staff. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and wonderful to talk with. I have no complaints whatsoever and appreciate the great service provided at the hotel. Main Street is within walking distance (about 15 minutes at the most) with lots of unique and interesting places to stop for a coffee or have a meal. I hope I have the opportunity to visit Smithers and stay at the Hudson Bay Lodge again.

  Lobby was dirty, the same drink was spilled on the front doors at eye level for 3 days. In room menu is not current, room service is advertised but not available, wait times in the restaurant are long, items are over priced and service is very poor. Rooms were newly renovated & Housekeeping staff were very thorough and prompt. I won't be staying here again. Photo of desert takeout we waited 30 minutes for, icecream was melting & baked crisp was cold.

  Nice hotel, conveniently located just off the highway and recently renovated/renovating. Couldn't sleep during the day because of renovation work and roofers right above my room and in the evenings, there were lots of doors slamming at all hours of the night. Could have been a busy time that I was staying there, because the last night was much quieter. There are two restaurants attached to the hotel, which is also very convenient for meals. The staff were friendly and helpful and overall I enjoyed my stay.
